Scripture is so soothing. I had a MRI last week. It was my first and, as soon as I was pushed in the tube, my hands started to sweat and I began to panic. Oh no! Thoughts immediately went to what if there's an earthquake? Then I decided to say the 23rd Psalm. The...though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death...went in my head as though I ride through the tunnel of death...I will fear no evil. Sounds crazy but my breathing slowed and I was very peaceful. The 20 minutes passed quickly. Scripture is so soothing.
