I havent mentioned it before... but my youngest grandson Little Mr.. at three and a half years old... is classed as non verbal... although no one has told him this. Recently...especially since starting nursery school... he is starting to say a few words.... He may not pronounce them accuratly... but you can understand him... most of the tme. Its lovely when he comes on Facetime and says "Ahhhh Nana" when he sees me... and he really loves it when he sees his "Gaga". which makes MrD so proud.
This means that he is a little behind in school... and he can get frustrated because he dosnt understand... or people dont understand him. For all this tho..I think he is incredibly bright. He figures things out quite quicky... like the day he wanted the light on in the living room and was told it was too early... so he went to his room... grabbed a long toy..reached up and clicked the switch on himself. He can now count to ten... sing songs... loves picture books which help his speech.. and loves doing crafts.
He carefully scooped out his pumpkin
then began painting it blue...
making sure it was well covered....
It took a day for the paint to dry..and another coat was need
The next day with mummys help.. he cut out a smiley mouth.
He put on the googly eyes with precision...
And he was happy with it too!
And guess what.....He won...
This Little Guy makes me so proud!
Love and Hugs
