Ten years in the US and I finally get to see a real cowboy...

It was a quick hello and goodbye as we drove by Las Vegas
although we are planning to visit for a few days next year
One hour from home.. we entered the smoke zone from raging wildfires
It was very eerie.. and a very strange colour..
Mr D says it looks like we are on Mars
And then we saw it....our beautiful mountain was on fire
very scary.and very sad
But we are very lucky that it hadnt reached our house
