This visa situation is getting me down... I feel like I'm running round like a headless chicken..
I had an email from the US side today saying that the approved petition was forwarded to the London embassy on April 17.. my medical was approved June 18..and now I should call London to schedule my interview...so I did..and London are saying I cant make an appointment and will be contacted by email when everything is processed. I will just have to wait...sighhh.
Ive been waiting 9 months....
Oh and its going to cost another 240 dollars..whatever that is in English....
This week I was planning to return to the States and start my new life with MrD. But, the American Embassy in London is experiencing a high volume of inquiries due to the increased number of approved petitions the NVC is
receiving from USCIS. So Im still waiting for my interview to get my fiance visa approved. Im a little heavy hearted, but it will come eventually....in Gods time
Meanwhile..Im still working hard, still losing weight, still going on my long walks and taking my photos (when I can) and spending time with my family.
And...Im making the most of living by the sea. When I get to California...I think I will miss it
So....my lovely workmates had a get together for Chelsea, Jade and me, cos we are all leaving for different reasons. I went out into the garden for a chat with my daughter..then was called back in.
I opened the door to the living room...and they were all waiting with asti filled glasses, a wedding cake and my lovely Mrd on Skype.
We got to cut a wedding cake together, with some lovely friends present. Thank you ladies...and my beautiful Miss C for the wonderful surprise, for all the hard work, the secrets, and a fabulous evening.
6 weeks today I was supposed to be in California...it dosnt look like thats going to happen...there are problems with the visa system at the US Embassy in London..so there is a backlog with visa interviews...
