Just a quick post today.. and a heartfelt thanks for all your kind wishes on the passing of extra Mum. As per her wishes.. there was no funeral.. just her pastor saying a few words.. and her ashes have already been scattered. Its all been a bit quick for me...and in my family to not have a funeral is unheard of. But I guess it is what she wanted... and she is now firmly in the arms of Jesus. MrD is bearing up well.. his great Faith is seeing him through.
He is keeping busy working in the garden. He is racing time right now as at last temperatures are starting to drop. The soil has to be a certain temperature so that grass seed can germinate.. so he hopes to be ready for a weekend sowing.
So he has tilled...and dragged... and flattened
and is looking good
At this rate he will definitely be ready for planting
