Woke up the last couple of mornings to an unexpected frost. I don’t remember it being this cold last Christmas. Luckily I had harvested most of the remaining peppers and only lost a couple of baby ones due to the low temperature. The veggie garden is definitely over.. and is now covered in dead leaves from the surrounding trees.. which will be great for getting some nutrients back in the soil
Some of the other plants in the garden are still flowering..
although I don’t know for how long..
And the berries on this plant are just popping with color
My mother used to say that the more berries a plant has.. the harsher the winter
I think I better get my thermals ready…
