MrD had an unexpected day off with plans to get a few projects finished

After a good breakfast he began cutting back the dead branches  and overgrown ivy around the garden

He then completed the last bit of heavy digging ... for a short while any way..

MrD.. with the help of Prince... 

has run a water pipe to the Victory Garden... 

so it now has its own tap... hosepipe... and timed watering system.

He was rewarded with freshly brewed coffee and cookies straight from the oven

Once the mess is cleaned up... 

we can start enjoying the warm weather in the garden...

Though... my indoor carpets need a good cleaning....

I'm not sure why...
