With all the hard work we've been doing at the Blue House...
we decided to take a day off today... and took a drive up the mountain.
We stopped at a place called Forest Falls.
Because of the drought the riverbed had dried to a small stream..
so we took a walk over the rocks and beautifully clear rock pools...
It was beautiful...
We were amazed to see how high the river normally was.
One huge tree had the soil around it eroded away...
had all it roots exposed and large rocks tangled in it branches...
And it was half way up the river bank..
Then we took a walk through the woods
MrD enjoyed more than he looks.....
Very beautiful place...
we will be going back very soon
