Mothers Day...Mark 2...

 Happy American Mothers Day...

and first job of the day was to carry out my motherly duties and feed the two youngsters...

who seem to be doing extremely well

After church MrD took me to a little place called Martha Greens for brunch.. a lovely little place filled with the kind of decor I love

We both ordered the special... Corned Beef Hash Benedict... and the waitress asked if we would like a  slice of cake with our coffee while we waited. Of course we said yes....

But our eyes popped when she brought the biggest slice of cake Ive ever seen... and it was still deliciously warm from the oven

And then came our main plate... and it too was delicious... but suffice to say... 

half our meal and half the cake came home with us....
