Whats For Dinner ~ Meal Plan Monday

And so begins the last few days of my 55th year...and what an eventful year it was. Winning my battle with cancer.. an exciting, eventful trip back to England and the most blessed of gifts.. two new grandbabies. I wonder what my 56th year will bring?

This week I have a few things to look forward too. Some gentle walks with my dear friend who is back from her cruise today.. Ladies Bible study and fellowship at our church (which I always enjoy).. and a trip out to a huge craft fair on Saturday. And  of course a Birthday date with MrD after church on Sunday. Time spent with my sweet hubby is always something to cherish.

So I better get myself into gear... and start these house chores. Have a wonderful week.. and here is this weeks dinner menu plan

Weekly Plan - 15th October 2018
Monday             Corn Flake Chicken Fingers, Oven Baked Potato Wedges, Peas

Tuesday             Beef Empanadas, Salad, Guacamole

Wednesday        Chicken And Spinach Pasta Bake

Cauliflower Cheese, Bacon, Baked Potatoes

Hawaiian Turkey Burgers, 

Saturday            Day Out with Friends

Sunday               Birthday Dinner


  1. I’m so happy you are back to living the good life! That was a scary journey you had with the cancer but that’s behind you now and you are even stronger in faith and mind as well as body and soul. All your meals sound delicious! You would be appalled at the way I go in the kitchen, look in the fridge and say, “Well, let me see what I’ll fix us to eat today!”

  2. I am always impressed by you and others like you who plan ahead for meals. Most of the time, I forget to get meat out of the freezer and we end up with something not healthy and not as good as it would have been had I just planned ahead. Good for you!! Keep posting and I'll be shamed into planning better here!

    I try to plan ahead but then the day arrives and I don't feel like eating what I had planned. Happens every time. : )
