Im sorry I havent been posting much the last few days. I started a new job in a care home for the elderly and Im working twelve hour shifts. Its hard work and a lot to get used to, so Im trying to organise myself better and fit everything in.
But, I still have time to fit in my weekly visit to Patrice for her weekly chat. Lets see what questions she has this week

What are your favorite condiments?
It has to be Heinz Tomato Ketchup..I love the stuff. I'm also partial to a little garlic salt.
What are you reading?
Six Years by Harlan Coben. I love his books..Ive read them all. Easy to pick up, hard to put down and brilliant endings
What was the last dessert you had?
My daughter and I went out to lunch a couple of weeks ago. I thought I had been very good ...and then she ordered dessert...Caramel Crunch Sundae....oh my word..
Wendell would like to know if you would build him a snowman. (If you don't have snow, just pretend. He's not detail oriented.)
Of course I will...but we have no snow here. Maybe I could make one like my daughter did when She was a little girl. Sammy is made out of a cardboard tube, cotton wool and sticky paper.
Tell me something fun or interesting.
Today would have been my mothers 75th birthday. She died suddenly in 2004 whilst visiting my brothers home. I still miss her greatly.

I have found a couple of reading selections in today's chat. Went to Amazon and yours sounds right up my alley.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about the loss of your mother. Time doesn't really erase the pain like they say, at least it doesn't seem so to me. I lost my daddy on 9 December 2012 and I still can't talk or think about him without tearing up.
ReplyDeleteThat caramel crunch sundae looks super yummy. My thighs are expanding just looking at it. haha
I hope that you have a great week!
I am so sorry about your mother..prayers. --that sundae looks divine. Congratulations on the job. Blessings
ReplyDeleteMay your beautiful mum's soul continue to rest in peace. Lost mine 10 years ago and the pain is so ever fresh. It's a wound only God can heal, if we allow Him.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend.
Cheers.
