Tuesday April 16th

After a chilly start, temperatures really soared here at the Blue House and this afternoon it was mid 80s

After initially working in the garden... planting a couple of succulents.. I decided to plant loads of marigold seeds from a packet I found from last year....

When he got home from work...Mr D was ready to seed the front lawn. 

He started by loosening the soil

Then walked back and fro with his seed spreader..

He stopped briefly for dinner... Beer Battered Shrimp Tacos... which I served with shredded coleslaw ... a small mixed salad and sliced avocado...

Then he went back outside and got out his roller and filled it with peat moss

and covered the whole 'lawn' with a fine layer of the soil

A final good watering and its done

and now its up to nature to start its job
