That bit of rain we had over the weekend has done the garden a power of good
The potatoes that were planted just over a week ago have already broken ground..
even though I planted them two inches deeper this year.
Fingers crossed they will do well in the bed rather than a pot.
I was also surprised to see strawberries already growing on the plants I over wintered from last year.. and very tasty they were too
And the hibiscus plants are having their final season flowering in pots. They will soon be planted in the new border we are creating.. giving the garden a lovely splash of colour.
It’s so exciting in the garden this time of the year
