Early Start..

Good Morning from The Blue House.. and a very belated Happy New Year..

MrD and I have both been sick for over a week.. with what’s sweeping our local area. Hubby has been suffering with a bout of .. what he insists was “mild “… pneumonia.. and which of course he is playing down. But it was very scary when he was struggling to get his breath..
I have been blessed with a nasty dose norovirus.. mixed with the flu….

MrD is much better.. even though it still hurts when he coughs. I’m hoping I’ve turned the corner and I’m trying hard to keep some food down.. It’s been six days.. but hey.. what a way to try and regain my girlish figure!!.

Finally the Christmas decorations are all put away.. a little late.. but this sickness is really lingering.. and absolutely exhausting

It’s time to get back to MY normal.. but everything is looking a bit bare and empty. I do love my vintage lovelies… so I may have to find a few more to bring a bit of cheer..
