Hurry Up Little Smudge....

So January has been a bit of a slow month with not much happening, Which is why I have been missing in action. But.. tomorrow is February and there is lots to look forward to... and hopefully plenty to write about. Especially as our granddaughter is due in a couple of weeks... followed by our trip to England

Our daughter and her little family have had their baby shower. Little Miss is so excited for her baby sister to come.. I think Mummy is too. Shes more than ready.. as she feels like shes going to pop!

But what got me the most was the scan picture they had done the day before... because its 4D! 4D?? I never even knew that existed. Things have come a long way since I carried my babies.

Aint technology grand!

Good Morning...

Of course the Holidays are over and its back to earth with a bump...

I was dragged (well not really) to Home Depot at 6 o'clock this morning to haul some lumber to do some more work on the house. Im not complaining MrD...honestly.

It's Over...

Well... The Holidays are over...the decorations are down and everywhere is looking a little sad and bare. I clung to the season as long as I could, but its now Epiphany ..12th Night...Jan 6th...so the decorations just had to come down. Its a tradition my mother adhered to...which I followed and my children seem to have forgotten. Theirs came down last week

Food wise there were very few Christmas leftovers.. I estimated well this time. MrD loved his Baileys Poke Coke and had the final slice last night... and he polished off the homemade truffles at work. Its time to start healthy eating again as we both put on a couple of pounds

Still there's only another 329 days til the decorations go up again and the season starts again...cant wait!

And talking of days...only 62 days til we fly to England. And with my daughters baby shower on Sunday and mere weeks til we welcome our new grandaughter. 

Its all so exciting!
