Outside my window...
Its 7.30am...and its a bit cooler today.. 55 degrees. Considering it got up to 87 over the weekend its a blessed relief
I am thinking...
how peaceful it is this time of the morning...I have had time to do a lot of chores and do my scripture study already.
I am thankful...
that the nasty migraine I suffered with at the end of last week has finally abated and I was able to enjoy the weekend wjth MrD. I don't get them often...but this one was a dooozey!
In the kitchen...
I have a meatloaf in the slow cooker. I have never made one before...I don't think its that popular in the Uk...but MrD requested one. I hope it turns out ok

to take a walk to the new 99c store later today. I love pastel colours, and the store is full of them this time of the year because of the run up to Easter. I'm going to see what I can find.. (anything for a bargain me!!)

My Sister of the Heart visiting us at the weekend as she travels to her hospital appointments. She lives eight hours drive from us..and I haven't seen her since just before Christmas. I have much to be grateful to her for....she introduced me to my lovely MrD

One of my favorite things...
that I had this weekend was the Strawberry Lemonade I had on Saturday when MrD took me out for a Valentines treat. That...along with the hot biscuits and apple butter was a meal in itself..and was absolutely delicious (please forgive MrDs workmans hands...he told me to say that ...smiles )

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you suffer with migraines, Phoebe. My daughter seems to control her migraines somewhat by watching her glycemic load. She says the higher it is, the worse the migraines. Seems to be some correlation there for her anyway. I don't know much about that, but thought I'd mention it. MrDs working hands show that he has a good work ethic. :-) Blessings to both of you!
