Everything is going along smoothly.(fingers crossed not wanting to jinx it). The realtor is calling tonight to make arrangements for signing the keys over next week. She is also driving out to the house tomorrow to make sure everything is in order there. Appparently the family will be going over the weekend to collect the last couple pf boxes out of the garage and say goodbye. I should imagine that it will be quite hard for them.. as it was the home thier mother lived in for over 50 years...and where they grew up.
But I promise we will look after it... and love it as much as she did.
On our part.. we are all ready. There are just a few everyday things left to box up. And I have packed a couple of bags ready to go next week to get ready for the termite fumigation... and another packed with cleaning stuff ready for the clean up afterwards
One of the snacks Im going to take with us is this one. I found a box of Ritz Crackers that needs to be used up and this recipe is one I use often... just to jazz it up a bit... and MrD loves them.
Next week is coming so fast.....
Upgrade your Ritz with this very simple...and tasty recipe
1 Tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 box Ritz crackers
1 stick melted butter,
1 packet Ranch dressing mix
¼ c. grated Parmesan,1 packet Ranch dressing mix
1 Tbsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 box Ritz crackers
- Line a 2 baking trays with parchment and spread out crackers
- Gently toss box of Ritz crackers with all 5 ingredients
- Spread the Ritz out in an even layer
- Bake in 300 degree oven for 15-25 minutes turning halfway through
- Allow the Ritz to sit on the baking sheet until cooled and dry, about 20 minutes.
- Store the in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
Love and Hugs
