Kiss at the Swap Meet..

I love my weekends with MrD...

Today we went to the Swap Meet to do watch the Kiss tribute band,

do a bit of shopping and have some dinner

For my 60th birthday next year.. we are hoping to go to Dapper Day at Disneyland..

so I need a suitable outfit...possibly from my favourite era

Right now.. I don’t think even my leg would fit.. 

but I’m hopeful... although...

if we keep eating like this..

it will never happen!!

 Every day..to and from work.. MrD drives past a familiar looking building.
it took a while to realize why..

If you have ever watched "Last Man Standing" starring Tim Allen...

you will recoginise that its  Outdoor Man..where "Mike Baxter" worked.

So we decided to go take a look... plus MrD needed a couple of things

Outside looked the same...

but inside was absolutely huge..

a gorgeous fireplace in the foyer

stuffed animals everywhere...

Im hoping they are not real

and even an aquarium.

I...myself found somethings I fell in love with...

Bird Houses....

Arent they cute...

I may have to go back and buy one...

Whats For Dinner ~ Meal Plan Monday

 Happy Monday... the first in the last month of Summer. With the wedding over.. life has got back to "normal" at the Blue House. I have caught up with sleep as the stress filled calls from the UK have stopped.. and also caught up with the blog posts that I hurridly wrote.. needed tweakling.. and the photos added. The wedding took up most of my thinking so now I can concentrate on other things... . 

Today starts my new fitness regime.. as I renew my daily walks..with a new walking partner. Its been a while. Hopefully I will get to know the area... where to walk and where not to.. so eventually I can go by myself...if I have to. I will have to go early as temperatures this week are set to soar to about 106F/ 41C. I have set myself mini landmarks to aim for... the County Fair later this month.. my birthday... Thanksgiving.. Christmas and of course the biggie... my family visiting next March. Got to get my bum in those kiddie rides with my granddaughter at Disneyland!!
