Whats for Dinner ~ Meal Plan Monday

Well its been quite a weekend. MrDs mother is back in hospital. The nursing home was not suited to her needs, they didnt know how to hook up her breathing machine, she didnt like the food, and she just wasnt happy. My sister in law is exhausted runnung around trying to get things sorted and I will be on the phone again today. We have told her to stop going back and fro to Moms house trying to sort things out and just concentrate on paperwork. MrD has to get some machines up to scratch before we can get up to Washington to help but we should be there the end of next week and will stay a fortnight. We can get stuck in and soon empty the house. We have been calling Mom every day and she seems content to wait for the right home and there is a meeting today to dicuss the options. Im sure we will find the right place for her

Apart from that this 100 degree weather is not treating me kindly.. Im so uncomfortable... and so is Prince.. especially as hes wearing a fur coat

The garden however is loving it..

Going to Washington State next week...where its 10 degrees cooler...will be a blessed respite. Im so looking forward to it...if I havent melted into a pool of water by then!!

MrD is off work on Tuesday and Wednesday for July 4th. We have been invited to our neighbours celebration and fireworks..and I think its Mexican food... so we will keep our planned steak for the next day. The rest of the weeks meals are quick and easy so I dont have to put on the oven except for the weekly pizza... Its far too warm! Our barbeque grill however will be in full swing

I hope your celebrations go well and here's the dinner menu for the first week of July
