All year I look forward to fall and this year we are having it! It was still pretty hot in Sept. but then our rain and cool temps in Oct. are making it lovely. We're south of you (about 60 miles) and we've had some strong winds but I think you get stronger ones near the mountains. Last year we hardly used our fireplace. Since the rain, we've had a fire every night and are using our wood burning stove to heat the house. It's so cozy! I tried your Mexican chicken with pinto beans last week. We enjoyed it and it was so easy. Tonight it's Lima beans and ham soup....a left over from the freezer. Have a blessed week.
