Fall really is my favorite season, but this one has been so hot it just doesn't feel like fall. Like you, I just bit the bullet and put out some fall decorations... winter will be here all too soon!
Hi Phoebe! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Fall is absolutely my favorite time of year!
Canning isn't hard, and pears are super easy...all they require to seal them is hot packing in a water bath, no pressure cooker involved with canning pears. The pear crisp was delicious, and yes, I think it's like a crumble, but with oats. My grandparents and great grandparents were from Wales, and I remember them making crumbles...rhubarb was my favorite.
Loved your photos, they make me want to hurry and get my decorating done!
Looks like you and I both enjoy a good dose of the fall season! Love the picture of you behind the cut-out! I just designed and painted a cut-out for Prairie Jubilee and I'm anxious to see how it goes over. It's got two face-holes...one is the face of a bison; the other is the center of a sunflower. Fun! Fun! Fun! Blessings for a great weekend, a lovely first day of fall, and gorgeous autumn season! :)
I'm getting ready to think Fall too. Looks cute over there!
