Fridays Favourite Five

It’s Friday, time to look back over the blessings of the week with Susanne at Living to Tell the Story

And this week it seems to be "coming to you by the letter S"

Starbucks Surprise
After he had been working a long 12 hours...hubby surprised me with my favourite iced coffee.... because he "knew I had been working hard all day"!! Hes such a sweetheart

Sunflowers
It may be Autumn..but sunflowers bring some sunshine to grey days...
and they never fail to make me smile

Skyping With my Sunshine
All my Family live 5,000 miles away in the Uk....so I am so grateful for Skype
Video calling to my children and my grandson brings them just that little bit closer

Stitching
I love to sew..but recently I was diognosed as having Carpul Tunnel in my hands, so some days its really hard to hold a needle. But..I am very grateful for the days when I can get things finished... and I have managed to complete a couple of hearts this week

Soulmate
Apart from my children and grandson...this guy is the biggest blessing in my life. He is kind considerate, thoughtful and hardworking. He makes me laugh everyday.. and I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for bringing us together.

So those are my five...Im looking forward to next weeks blessings
Have a lovely weekend everyone

Love and Hugs

  1. Hi Phoebe,
I live in CA too! I enjoyed your Faves, definitely agree with you on skyping which we do with our grandchildren who all live far away.
    Love the sunflower photo!

  2. Love your "S" sponsored post. Starbucks, sunflowers and Skype (or Facetime in my case) are all things that could have been on my list this week, too.

How difficult to not to be able to always indulge your sewing passion. Because of a bad knee (college injury) and bad hip (old age), I am not always able to walk. So I agree it is extra special when I can indulge. . . . Your heart is cute. Are they all hanging ones?

I'm also a CA blogger (from the Sacramento area). I hope you are finding CA to be a suitable home.

    Have a great week.

  3. What a lovely list of five blessings. I'm always loving a surprise starbucks and skype really is a wonderful thing in this day and age when families can be so physically apart. Your grandson is a cutie! I had carpal tunnel surgery last year in my dominant hand and it really really helped. No longer do I wake up to a numb and tingling hand!

  4. I have a son, dil, 2 yr old grand-daughter and expecting a new baby soon - also in the UK. We use facetime and I'm so grateful for it. What a difference from the old days of letters and the occasional phone call!

Mmm your Starbucks is making me thirsty!

    I love sunflowers too.

Your DH has a sweet smile!

    Happy week!
