Well...I broke my record for steps today... feeling a bit chuffed. 22,458 steps... so cool
My walking partner is struggling with the air quality because of the the terrible fires here in California... so we found the solution. We walked around one of the local malls. Its perfect .. no hot sunshine and its air conditioned..Each circuit is approx a mile and we did five. We got there at 7.30..and the shops dont open til 10...so no distractions... or temptations to buy. We wernt alone either.. other people had the same idea.
So this will be our walking destination until things improve... hopefully the fires will be brought under control soon.. but seeing as we havent had rain for many months...and non forecast in the near future.. we may be coming here for a while. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the firefighters battling all the infernos...and all those affected by them.
