Fall has arrived at our house.
This is only the second year I have decorated for this season.
Although I love the colours...
Back in the UK we didn't really acknowledge it...
especially as we didn't have Thanksgiving.
So I had to start from scratch...
and just added lots of autumn chrysanthemums..
autumn leaves...
Pumpkins and sunflowers...
and those huge pine cones we found on our trip.
We even have a new wreath for the front door.
Love and Hugs

You have done a great job of decorating for Autumn. Your home looks cozy and inviting. I wish you both a nice weekend.

I love to decorate for Fall. You've done a fine job but isn't it strange that Fall is not really acknowledged in the UK? And no Thanksgiving? I don't think we in Canada make quite as big a holiday with Thanksgiving as in the U.S. but still! ( Ours is the second weekend in October....a lot earlier than the U,S.
ReplyDeleteThank you GM. No... no Thanksgiving in the Uk as its a US holiday. We do however have Bonfire Night on November 5th when we are grateful that Guy Fawkes didnt blow up the Houses of Parliment

What beautiful fall decor!! I especially like the pillow at the top and the front door wreath, plus the lovely fall florals at the top of the cabinets. And your blog background with the sun shining through the leaves ... just couldn't be prettier!
ReplyDeleteThank you Mrs T. Autumn colours are so pretty
