The Silent Killer

Today... May 8th.. is World Ovarian Cancer Day. The goal is to bring awareness to the disease and inform people of the signs and symptoms so early detection is possible... and ultimately save lives
Every woman in the world is at risk of developing Ovarian Cancer. 140,000 women a year die from this, the most serious gynecological cancer.
As someone who is battling this disease I will wear my teal ribbon, continue to give Ovarian Cancer a 'real' face.. and push awareness. Awareness is Power
Listen to your body.. learn the signs and symptoms ...ask the questions... make yourself heard... and save yourself and your loved ones from the heartbreak Ovarian Cancer brings

Love and Hugs

  2. I wasn't aware that today was World Ovarian Cancer Day. I normally don't go on my computer until the late afternoon and today I'm even later so I missed it. But the message is there for all of us to keep in mind!
