Elvis Lives....

 After last nights lovely walk along the Las Vegas strip we woke up hungry

so we went for breakfast at the Hard Rock Cafe

 We had a delicious meal served by a lovely, very chatty waitress

Afterwards we had a look at some of the memorabilia

and saw there was a lot from Elvis Presley

 Even some of his clothes

  Was he really that slim?

And its good to know that Elvis is alive and well...

ok...maybe on a mobility scooter...

but still enjoying an ice cream at 9.30 in the morning

Las Vegas Surprise

So this was a surprise

Hubby woke us up early this morning with the words

"Pack your bags...we are going to Vegas"

He had booked us on an overnight trip

and we were to stay in the Paris Hotel.

It looked so magnificent in the daylight

but at night....wow!

They say Las Vegas comes alive when the sun goes down

well...it can certainly be said about the Bellagio Fountains

Amazing!!

Footwork!

I treated Miss C and myself to a lovely pedicure today

Its been a long time since my last one and it was quite a treat

The chairs we sat in was a wonderful back massager  too

It was a relaxing way to spend the afternoon..

and look...

her nail colour matches her phone case...lol

Universal Studios

 We had a marvelous day today

 Our first ever trip to Universal Studios

 It was great that Miss C was with us

Its been years since I have been on any rides

 but I loved it...especially the Despicable Me one

 I really want to be a Minion!!

 So much to see...

And so well set out

 MrD liked the Simpson attraction...

where you can get a burger..

 or perhaps a donut...

or maybe have a beer at Moe's

 He looks like hes done this before.....kidding!

 The Hogwarts attraction is under construction

and looks like it will be really good

 But the shop is open...and you can buy your own wand...

Fabulous Day...

and we have a Season Pass so we will be going again

The Pumpkin Patch

All this running around means time has got away from us

Its about time we bought our Halloween pumpkins

Miss C has never seen a pumpkin patch like this before

We had a good look around..

So many to choose from

and had a bit of fun...me...

and her

and we each chose our favourite

and transported them safely home....

ready for carving

Late Afternoon in Santa Monica

Miss C's 'Go See" list is well underway

 Mr D finished work a little earlier and we took a ride out to Santa Monica

It was quite windy..but still very warm
