Summer Memories

After all the festivities of the Holiday Season, life feels a little dull and flat. The days are a little greyer and the rain hasn't stopped for weeks, leaving everywhere a muddy mess.

I'm ready to let some sunshine into my soul...are you?

              The woods near my home where I love to walk with the dogs.

               In the summer, there are beautiful bushes of Rhododendrons

                                 I love flowers, they always lighten my heart

    Welcome to Sunlit Sunday. I can't help but think how fortunate you are to have those beautiful woods by your home; I'd love to walk down that road and take in all that beauty. Is that a stone wall I see on the left? How wonderful!

      Thank you Karen and yes...that is an old stone wall, made the old way with no cement.I am very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

    Very pretty! I do miss the green of summer and the sun filled days! I guess we have to go through these dull days so we will appreciate the beauty of spring, summer and fall all the more!

    What a beautiful lane - I have a similar place for walking the dog, but today it is just too rainy. Soon, though, there will be daffodils along the sides of the road!
